The beach of Cala Moresca is located at about 2,5 km. far from the town of Golfo Aranci, just opposite of the oxbow of Figarolo, along the northeastern coast of Sardinia.
The suggestive Cala Moresca is a sandy and rocky bay overhung by a pineforest. After Cala Moresca the road ends so the other beaches on the promontory of Capo Figari (Cala Greca e Cala del Sonno) are reachable only by boat or on foot, through an impervious path among rocks.

How to get there (click here): from Olbia drive the S.p.82 to Golfo Aranci. From the centre of the town go towards the ship dock. Just after the level crossing turn right and keep ahead for 600 mt. along the paved road and for 2 km. on a dirt road.

Tourist attractions

Golfo Aranci is situated on the north-eastern part of the island, 18 kilometers from Olbia. It is a fishing town whose name comes not, as you can think, to the Italian word “Aranci” but to the words “li ranci” that in the local dialect mean “the crabs”. During the last years Golfo Aranci has grown thanks to its railway and its harbor, a very important slips for the navies coming from the Italian mainland. The surroundings are rich in remains that date back to the Nuragical and Roman Age.
