Liscia Ruja beach is located in the southern part of the wide Costa Smeralda.
The beach is also known as Long beach cause it is the widest one. It is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia for its exceptional natural features: a big arch of white and pinkish sand that bounds a bay of clear and pure water set in a frame of thick Mediterranean maquis with strawberry-trees, cistus and junipers which nearly touch the sea.

How to get there: from Olbia drive to Arzachena-Palau direction until the intersection for Costa Smeralda; turn on the right and, afetr 7km., come to another intersection on the right with a second road sign to Cota Smeralda. After Portisco intersection and the large boulder that marks the boundary with the Esmeralda Coast, take the dirt road on the right that leads to the beaches of Razza di Juncu, Petra Ruja and Liscia Ruja.
