 | Arbus was a mining centre, beyond the particularly wild mountains of the Iglesiente, between Guspini and Fluminimaggiore. Nearby the village there is one of the oldest mining towns, Ingurtosu, that dates back to the 19th century. Nowadays it has been restored and it represents an important tourist resource. |

 | The town, that grew to 1200 inhabitants, was left during the 70’s and nowadays seems a very mysterious and fascinating place. This area will next become a geo-mining park. On the naturalistic side, you shouldn’t miss the desert of Piscinas, formed by expanses of dunes that reach the sea, giving rise to the beautiful beach of Is Arenas.
