The beach of Piscinas is located along southwestern coast of Sardinia named Costa Verde and wich is 47 Km long. The beach is surrounded by high dunes which are unique in Sardinia: they are characterized by junipers and ancient wild olives in a still intact ecosystem, where it is possibile to find rare specimen of flowers like the lily of the sea. Early in the morning, the best time to walk along the seashore, you may meet some cheers.

HOW TO GET THERE (CLICK HERE): from Chia drive once again along the S.S.195 route and take the S.S.131 till the crossroads of Sanluri. Turn right towards Guspini and Arbus, and from Arbus follow the signs to reach the mines of Ingurtosu and to the huge beaches of Piscinas.

Piscinas is located in the south-west of Sardinia, just a few kilometres from the sea and from the most important archaeological sites. Of particular interest are Iglesias with its Geo-mineral Park, Portoscuso, Sant'Antioco, Calasetta, Carloforte, Porto Pino, Teulada, Domus De Maria and the truly beautiful and panoramic coastline with Baia Chia, Santa Margherita di Pula, Villasimius, Poetto and Cagliari. The area of Piscinas can offer a holiday dedicated to the seaside and to culture. The local cuisine is wonderful, and can be tasted in any of the many agriturismo establishments or the excellent restaurants. There is also no shortage of possibilities for musical evenings, discotheques, displays of folklore and the traditional old fairs.
