The National Museum of Archaeology of Cagliari is the most important archaeological museum thanks to its large document of the Sardinian culture, from prehistory to the middle age. Museum’s rooms host materials coming from the excavation of prehistoric ages (Anghelo Ruiu necropolis, Palmavera nuraghe, Nieddu nuraghe…). It is possible to admire bone necklace, characteristic tripod and small basket jars, statues of the Mother divinity. Among the nuragic materials valuable small-bronzes are showed, to testify the craftsmen level reached. The visit takes about 1 hour Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday: 9.00 – 20.00 Closed on Monday(except Easter’s Monday)
