The procession reminds “s’incontru”, the meeting between Jesus and Magdalena: two processions parade on that day, one made of men and the other made on women. They both start from the St. Gabriel church at different times and different walks. They get together at the end of the procession to end together the prcession and reach the church. Also in Oliena (NU) something similar happens: on Easter Sunday “s’incontru” is celebrated, too, the meeting between the statue of Magdalena and that of the risen Christ.
