On Easter, during the holy week, the most interesting and fascinating cerimony in Cagliari, takes place on Friday, with the  representation of Christ's Funeral.
In the city there are many other cerimonies: the first one organized by  Fraternal Order of Santissimo Crocifisso  follows a path that goes from the church of S. Giacomo  to  San Lucifero's. The second one is prepared  by the  Fraternal Order Loneliness : it starts from the church of  S. Giovanni, through the city centre to the Cathedral. The third one is organized by the   Fraternal Order of Gonfalone and goes through Stampace district.
On Saturday morning, in the Cathedral, you can admire the touching cerimony of Su Scravamentu, or else the Christ Cross' deposition.

CALENDAR:
Holy Friday - Three processions of the dead Christ are celebrated in the  city.
h. 13.00 - from S. Giovanni church to the  Cathedral.
h. 16.00 - from S. Giacomo church to S. Lucifero's.
h. 20.30 - from S. Efisio church through the Stampace district.
