 | The religious event reminds the vow made from Bosa's inhabitants in XVI siecle to avoid a pestilence. On the second week of September (on thursday) the Madonna of Regnos Altos, who saved Bosa from the plague, will be taken in procession from the Cathedral to the Malaspina's Castle going through Sa Costa's quarter. Only the Sunday after the statue will be taken back to the Cathedral. The oldest families of Bosa use to stage their own precious altars in honour of the saint. They are trimmed with tipycal local laces, golden filigree, coral and flowers. The event is focused on Saturday night when, across the town, will be offered to the guests sardinian food, sweets and local wines. Inside the Castle then, it will be organized the Medioeval Dinner and, along the main road of Bosa it will have place the Nuragica Dinner; they represent the contrast between nobles and common people. The historic centre of the town is adorned with palms and coloured flags. The procession followes the same route of the medioeval pilgrims and goes from the old centre up to the Castle along small streets and and stairs throug Sa Costa's quarter.
