The Rally Costa Smeralda is an unmissable meeting for all those people who love motors. Breathtaking races and fabulous routes, along both asphalt and dirt roads of Gallura and Costa Smeralda. .
The history of this beautiful event began in 1978 and since then, except for a break from ’94 to ’98, it has become a very important event, attracting more and more people each year. This competition is valid for the FIA Circuit (European Rally Cup 2008) and for the Italian Rally Championship. Olbia is the operating base of the Rally, but the start and the arrival is at the Molo Vecchio in Porto Cervo. The Automobile Club of Sassari and Nuoro are the organizers of the event. The programme includes a route that goes through the magnificent Costa Smeralda.

Touristic info

Porto Cervo is the real and oldest centre of the the Emerald Coast. This village was born in 1962, under the will of the prince Karim Aga Khan, who bought these charming lands and built here the first hotel.
