SARDINIAN TRAIN ROUTES

	BY TRAIN – Routes and timetable of trains in Sardinia

	The route of the State – Railroad in Sardinia looks more or less like a huge Y. The main route starts from Cagliari to Chillivani trespassing Oristano and finally getting separate in two stumps: one goes to Sassari and Porto Torres and the other arrives at Olbia and Golfo Aranci. From Olbia to Cagliari there are five runs on a day: the ticket for the economy class costs about € 13,60 and the route lasts about four hours. From Sassari to Cagliari there are daily five runs, too: the cost if the ticket ist about € 12,70. The rout length is about three hours. From Sassari to Olbia there are seven connections in both directions. The route lasts about two hours ant the ticket cost is about € 5,90. The train Station lies in the town center of Olbia. You can easily reach the train station by taking the busses number 2 or 10 from the airport (from 7.30 AM each 1/4 hour) until their stop in Via Gabriele D’Annunzio right in front of the large square with the train platforms.
