 | Alasport Club is arranging a running competition on March 14th in Alà dei sardi (OT). The competition is the 34th Alasport Trophy- 22nd President of the Republic Trophy , an international cross-country race, one of the most important in the world. A classical meeting that recurs year after year. It started on march 25th 1973 thanks to Antonello Baltolu. The sporting event will start at 10:30 am with the young sector races. After that there will be the moment of the great international stars that will test the wonderful circuit in view of the next World Cup which will take place after two weeks at Bydgoszcz. There will be a great group of talented Africans athletes , the best in the last years . The last Italian victory was in 1990 with Francesco Panetta . For the women in the last edition Florence Klipagat was the winner while the Kenyan Moses Mosop ruled for the men.
