 | The Cultural Association “Move in Art” informs that on Saturday 9th of January 2010 at 6.30pm there will be the opening of the show “Sguardi d’ arte nel tempo” of Costantino Fenu. The show will be held at the Bar Majore Caffè Tettamanzi, Corso Garibaldi 71 in Nuoro.
Costantino Fenu was born in Ozieri on the 25th of May 1952. At the beginning of his pictorial experience he starts with the representation of the Limbara landscapes: distant landscapes whose depth is emphasized by soft colours that give to his works a post-impressionist touch.
During the years the research of cultural and ethnic values brings the artist to the elaboration of geometric, structural and modular compositions among past and present, the inside and the outside.
The drawing, the colour and shape characterize his paintings made with elegance and attention.
The paintings are characterized by moments of enthusiasm and disheartenment, corners with wide view, materics and diluted paintings, ; they are the result of the emotions perceived observing and studying the surrounding space. This is maybe the reason why he never loses the balance even when he dares with unusual games of colours.
He studies the man and his territory making an exploration able to send us in a timeless dimension without alienation, which allows us to live moments of escape from the present anxiety, in the future and the past like a stable childhood with an uncertain future.
The show can be visited every day until the 12th of February. Free entrance.
