The event, organized by the local forest authority of Sardinia, is here again with nine appointments.
The forests in Sardinia owned by the State represent a precious gift of great  importance from a naturalistic, environmental, historic and economic point of view: for this reason  the local authority suggests during the spring for nine week ends , fixed visits to some of the most beautiful natural places in Sardinia.

This is the Calendar for the first seven events:

April 25th:  Funtanamelas Forest (Laconi)
May 2nd: Limbara Sud Forest (Berchidda)
May 9th: Marganai Forest (Iglesias)
May 16th : Montarbu Forest (Seui)
May 23rd : Monte Pisanu Forest ( Bono)
May 30th : Montes Forest (Orgosolo)
June 6th : Forest perimeter in Bidderosa (Orosei)

The other two events at Montimannu (Villacidro) and Settefratelli (Burcei) will probably take place between October 3rd and October 10th 2010 .

The program includes activities for children ( on Sunday morning ) and for adults.
According to the characteristics of the place are available ::
- environmental and educational  activities for children
- course and contest  of Naturalistic  Photography ( see the application on line. People interested, even those not registered, could have information the same morning arriving at the forest.
- Exposure-sale and tasting of typical products.
- Walking, trekking, climbing, mountain bike courses, horse walking
- Spelaeology and tourist activities
- Visits to cultural and archaeological  sites, exhibitions and thematic projections
