Four outstanding female figures will represent the "fil rouge" of the program scheduled for the seventy-first opera season organized by The Concert Company "Marialisa de Carolis".
An itinerary between the Nineteenth and the Twentieth Century, through the magic of Carmen (1875), Madama Butterfly (1904) and two special new entries: Salome (1905) by Richard Strauss and Adriana Lecouvreur (1902) by Francesco Cilea. These are the masterpieces that will be staged at the Teatro Comunale of Sassari between October and December. To complete the seasonal offer there will be the final concert with the performance of the Symphony no. 9 by Beethoven, conducted by a rising star of the new generation among the Italian directors, Andrea Battistoni.
