Arzachena City Hall offers the free transfer service called “La via delle Pietre” “the Stone’s trail”, to connect Arzachena city centre with the archaeological sites: La Prisgiona and Coddu Ecchju about 5 km far. The Tourism Service offers the opportunity to visit easily the main attractions of the local historical heritage even for those travelling on the island by public transport.
The shuttle service leaves at 10am and 4pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday on a three-stage trip. The tour takes place from the Emiciclo Europa bus stop (at the beginning of Ruzittu street) and leads to the Prisgiona’s nuragic village, to the Giant’s Tomb of Coddu Ecchju and to the Old Train Station, a 1929 building that houses the Labenur historical reconstruction laboratory.
In about three hours you can discover the main steps that have marked the last 6 thousand years of Arzachena’s history: from the Neolithic, to the Nuragic Age, to the Stazzi’s culture.
Whoever joins the service "The Stone’s trail" has a special price for the combined entry to the sites of the tour.
The shuttle service is available until October 16th, 2017.
