 | Dance World Competition
The competition was created in Germany in 1983 with the exhibition of artists from different nations as France, England , Spain, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Poland , Denmark, Estonia, Russia, China, Moldavia, Ukraine, Israel, Nigeria, Mexico, Canada, Latvia, Japan and Uzbekistan .
The centre of the world competition is decided by an international committee two years before it takes place. - 2008 Vancouver, Canada . - 2009 Jersey, UK - 2010 Olbia, Italy – from June 30th to July 30th - - 2011 Japan.
The inflexible international jury that will judge the competitors will be composed by judges of a different nationality from the one which gives hospitality to the competition. Only the first three places for each category will enter the world final. The world cup stage management is under the direction of Marit Bech – able teacher of classical ballet and member of the Vaganova Academy in Saint Petersburg - and Mavi Careddu choreograph of great experience, promoter of the choreographic show case in association with The Life Dance Center.
The choreographic show case
International competition for choreographs and interpreters . This is the meeting that offers a great opportunity to young talented from Sardinia to compete and improve their selves in the hard but wonderful world of Dancing. This edition has a jackpot of 25000 € that includes a scholarship and the stay in the best Italian and foreign academies in Milan, Rome, Paris and New York. Once again the high level of the competition will be assured by the hard preliminary selections that will take place in several Italian cities ( Florence, Turin, Bari, Naples, Milan, Rome, Cagliari, Latina and Trapani ). The competition has arrived with great success to the 11th edition with the presence of many international artists like Steve La Chance, Oriella Dorella, Mia Molinari, Luciana Savignano, Kledy, Ilir Shaqiri , Ashen Ataljanc, Silvio Oddi, Roberto Tadeu de Azevedo, Josè and Anbeta , to mention only a few names. |
