Palmasera is the widest beach of Cala Gonone. It was subjected to a beach-feeding, it still keeps the same features appreciated by people who love beautiful beaches. Palmasera boasts a unique red fine-shingled sandy shore mixed with fine white sand that, together with its transparent light blue waters, makes it a wonderful and original place.

HOW TO GET THERE:
From Olbia take the highway 131 DCN (to Cagliari/Nuoro), take the exit for Bitti/Lula/Orosei/Dorgali and turn to S.S. n° 38. Then take the panoramic coast road 125 and turn to Cala Gonone: follow the signs for the beach just before the village.

Touristic info

Cala Gonone is about 7 km far from Dorgali, surrounded by mountains and big calcareous cliffs that. This area is full of wonderful creeks and isolated beaches, easily to reach only by boat. On the north there is the beach of Osalla, reachable by land and the suitable place for families thanks to the pinewood at its back. After Osalla there is the beach of Cartoe: its sand is surprisingly white and its waters blue and crystal-clear. On the south of Cala Gonone there is the small but beautiful Cala Fuili.
