 | OLBIA HAS NEVER BEEN SO CLOSE Fine weather is coming and Olbia airport enlarges its connections, so its destinations connected by 18 national airline companies become 56.
Something new: Jet2.com launched, after the connection to Leeds operated from 2008, two new flights to Edinburgh and Manchester in May.
EasyJet will add a new connection to Lione starting from July. It will join the connections to Berlin, London, Bristol, Basel, Geneva and Milan Malpensa( the two daily flights will become three during the summer).
Transavia.com launched its new route to Paris Orly in April. It joins the already existing connection to Amsterdam.
More news about international destinations: Meridiana will connect Olbia to the main Parisian airport starting from June: Charles de Gaulle airport.
Tuifly increased its annual flights to Cologne, Hannover, Munich and Stuttgart starting from March. Flights to Hamburg and Frankfurt are operated twice a week starting from April 04, 2009.
As for the German market, Lufthansa connects Olbia to Munich and Düsseldorf (starting from March).
Ryanair introduced its flights to Birmingham twice a week starting from March 30, 2009.
Skyeurope will connect Olbia to Prague ( from June) and Vienna( from May) with around 2, 3 flights a week to Austria.
Welcome Air connects Olbia to Nice, Graz and Innsbruck starting from May.
Air Berlin flyes to Nuremberg and Zürich from May.
Another flight to Zürich is operated by Helvetic from April.
As for Switzerland, flights between Olbia and Lugano with Darwin Airline started again in May.
Flights to Barcelona and Madrid will start again with Iberia from July.
Domestic flights: Meridiana: Besides Rome, Milan, Bologna, Cagliari and Verona, other flights from/to Naples, Florence, Turin and Venice starting from June will join.
Air Italy: the Italian company will connect Olbia to different domestic destinations this year as well: Bari ( from June), Naples (from the end of June), Catania ( from the end of June), Turin ( from June) and Palermo( from July).
Air Dolomiti: the Italo-German company will connect Obia to Trieste again.
Other domestic flights: Air Vallee: Genoa and Turin from June
My air: Venice (from June) and Bergamo (from July)
Air Alps: Bolzano, Parma, Perugia and Rimini
Besides all scheduled flights, different charter flights are operated all over Europe.
