The Su Logu e s'iscultura Museum of Tortolì, officially born in 1995, this museum is structured with big sculpture built at the place, able to interact with the land, the morphology and the character of Ogliastra (1700 kmq) and to conceive a new urban and environmental furniture for this Eastern Sardinian area, a region very interesting for its landscape too.
In a short time this en plein air exhibition of chef d’oeuvre, thank to the work of Edoardo Manzoni has grown boasting today 11 sculptures of high quality, displaced to adorn the different place of the town. The artists that have participated to the project are: Maria Lai, Gianfranco Pardi, Igino Panzino, Giovanni Campus, Mauro Staccioli, Massimo Kaufmann, Maurizio Bertinetti, Alfredo Pirri, Corrado Bonomi, Antonio levolella, Pietro Coletta, Ascanio W. Renda, Hidetoshi Nagasawa, Umberto Mariani. |
