First Rule: Dress with care... |
At Summer |
Summer is very hot, but some evenings can be cold, so bring something quite heavy to wear at night with you, especially if you are going inland, during the day light attire is recommended, and of course don’t forget your swimming costume with a towel. |
At Winter |
In Winter temperatures are lower, but there is a significant temperature range day/night, so bring something heavy and light, just in case. |
Shoes |
Comfortable shoes are recommended, preferably sneakers, so as not to miss the hikes inland!. You should think about Rain clothes for Spring and Autumn time. |
Clothes |
Bella figura...like everywhere in Italy it is important to make bella figura. Casual dress is recommended for restaurants and pubs, especially in big centers. |
Around with the road map... |
Further to a appropriate clothes for every season it would be advisable to have something to bring with as the Map of Sardinia (road and nautical map) with the name of the main beaches, with photos and description of the accesses ways to the best bays and to all harbours and docks. Further more, of course, slip roads to Mountains and protected areas. |
Depliant |
It could be also useful to take with leaflets and depliants, that usually are supplied by the main tourist offices and operators. Most of them, together with the maps, can be found free at the Airport “Costa Smeralda” in the Tourist Information Centre, where the personnel will be able to give every kind of tourist information. |
