The Isola dei Gabbiani is located at about 6 km. far from the town of Palau, along the northeastern Sardinia coast.
The island faces towards La Maddalena and Caprera Archipelago and the small islands of Spargi, Spargiotto, Santo Stefano and Budelli. The island consist of two large sandy beaches joined to the mainland by an isthmus. Thanks to the wind that beat the beaches all year long, Isola dei Gabbiani is considered the heaven for surfers coming from all over the world that can practise their favourite sport on summer and winter too.

How to get there (click here): from Olbia follow directions to Palau-Santa teresa di Gallura. Once you get to the first roundabout turn take Santa Teresa exit and after about 3 km. turn right to Porto Pollo. The Isola dei Gabbiani is 2 km. far from Porto Pollo.
